*A holiday surcharge applies on Canadian statutory holidays and the surrounding weekend, as these are peak times when demand is higher and sitters are away from their own families. This includes New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, and Christmas Eve through Boxing Day.
